Every moment we go about our purposeful lives, at times hurtling forward full throttle, at times pausing to catch our breaths, there is another reality unfolding, an elsewhere quite uninterested in the tangled webs we weave.  Whenever I return to the forest, I am enveloped in timelessness and presence, am offered the healing balm I call forest medicine.  In this place, where my eyes, ears, nose, tongue and skin are allowed their full roving, I drink, with all my senses, the elixir of life, and know my place on earth.
